Winter 2013 afterthoughts

Finally completed all my reviews of Winter 2013. I started back in March, it took me a long time!
What did you enjoy the most? What are your thoughts on this season?

I made a list of the titles that I am going to continue watching for sure. I expect maybe 1 year to watch them, because of all the dramas I am watching from older seasons. I'm slow! :

• Saikou no Rikon
• Nobunaga no Chef
• Nakuna Hara-chan
• Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de
• xxxHolic

And titles that I might be watching , if I feel like it. Those titles will be easy to watch in the bus when I commute :

• Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou
• Dinner
• Karamavoz no Kyoudai
• Last Hope
• Tonbi

Those titles sometimes ends up being super good! And sometimes that I thought was so good in the first ep ended up being not that good.

Koukou Nyuushi review

Hi!
I made some changes to the blog. I changed the banner. I am trying to change often with the drama I enjoy at the moment. I also changed the font and font color in attempt to make it easier to read.
Today, I review Koukou Nyuushi, a mysterious drama.

Tonbi ep.1

Tonbi (2013) is a drama that is based on the same novel of Tonbi (2012, 2 part tanpatsu drama). The drama is not a sequel of the tanpatsu and does not share the same actors.

76th Television Drama Academy Awards

The  76th Television Drama Academy Awards have been announced. This is for Winter 2013 season. 

• Best Drama: Saikou no Rikon
• Best Actor: Eita / Saikou no Rikon
• Best Actress: Suzuki Kyoka / Yakou Kanransha
• Best Supporting Actor: Yoshida Kotaro / Karamazov no Kyodai
• Best Supporting Actress: Ono Machiko / Saikou no Rikon
• Best Screenwriter: Sakamoto Yuji / Saikou no Rikon
• Best Director: Miyamoto Rieko, Namiki Michiko, Kato Yusuke / Saikou no Rikon
• Best Theme song: Yin Yang / Saikou no Rikon

I am not very surprised about the results, Saikou no Rikon is very good!! Also, I thought Yoshida Kotaro did a good job in Karamazov no Kyoudai. 

Monsters review

This will be a review of Monsters, starring Katori Shingo and Yamashita Tomohisa. Monsters played back in Fall 2012 and has 8 episodes.

Last Hope ep.1

Finally, Last Hope episode 1 review!!!

 

You can find english subbed episodes at Miyase-subs here at : http://miyase-subs.livejournal.com/. You need a livejournal account. After, you need to request to be a member of miyase-subs. Sadly, at the moment, membership is closed. The reason is that someone was selling their subbed videos on internet. If they change this and make it open again, to be a member, you have to press the "join community" at the top. You also need to leave a comment on their post "introduction #2" stating you will follow every rules. After you are accepted in their community, you will have access to their subbed Last Hope episodes (they have subbed 8 episodes at the moment).

Trick 3 review

This will be a very small review of Trick 3.Please refer to my Trick 2 review for a more complete analysis.

Trick 3 is the third and last season of popular mystery drama Trick. It aired back in 2003. Trick 3 is very similar to it's two previous seasons. The only difference is a new actor doing the role of Yabe's underling.

Trick 3 still has the humor, crazy stories and magic tricks. The humor is still top notch. One of the most funny dramas I've watched. However, I found that the story plots in Trick 3 were less interesting and more exaggerated. If you really loved Trick 1 and 2, I recommend you this drama. But, if you thought Trick 2 was not that good, then this one will be the same. For some reason, story arcs are mostly still about religious groups or mysterious villages.

Osozaki no Himawari review

Hi folks! I'm back with a full drama review of Osozaki no Himawari!
I was sick with the flu, had final exams at school and had a graduation party, I am sorry to be a little bit behind with my reviews!
I will try to keep my reviews a bit shorter, they were getting longer and longer. I'm sure you don't want a wall of text. I still have much to learn in the art of writing a review!
